About the Role

The school is seeking a qualified Arabic Teacher to join their team on a full-time, ongoing basis commencing ASAP or Term 3.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching Arabic across relevant year levels
• Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
• Supporting students in developing language proficiency, literacy, and cultural understanding
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Contributing to faculty collaboration and curriculum development
• Participating in school activities and wider community engagement

Both graduate and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Secondary teaching qualification (B.Ed, M.Teach, PGCE or equivalent)
• VIT registration or eligibility to obtain
• Ability to teach Arabic language (spoken and written)
• Understanding of culturally responsive teaching practices
• Commitment to student engagement and wellbeing
• Two professional child-related referees
