The Art/Visual Arts Teacher Role
We are seeking a passionate and talented Art/Visual Arts teacher to join our team starting Term 3, 2026. In this role, you will:

  • Teach Art and Visual Arts to Years 7–12, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of visual expression.
  • Lead engaging lessons that explore various art techniques, styles, and mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital arts.
  • Foster creativity, artistic development, and critical thinking in students through project-based learning.
  • Support students in developing their portfolios and preparing for assessments and exhibitions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, cross-curricular projects, and school events.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that inspires students to explore and express their creativity.
Key Art/Visual Arts Teacher Requirements
  • VIT registration or eligibility to teach in Victoria.
  • Relevant teaching qualification in Art, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of various artistic techniques, art history, and visual communication.
  • Excellent communication, organisational skills, and a passion for teaching.
  • Ability to inspire and nurture students’ artistic talents and self-expression.
