Prospero Teaching is excited to partner with a large, well-resourced P–12 College in Melbourne to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Biology Teacher for a Term 4, 2026 commencement.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Biology educator to join a supportive school community that values collaboration, student achievement, diversity and staff wellbeing.
We are seeking a passionate Biology teacher who can:
Deliver engaging Biology and Science lessons across secondary year levels
Support students to develop strong scientific knowledge and understanding
Plan and deliver practical experiments, investigations and laboratory activities
Use explicit teaching, inquiry-based learning and formative assessment
Develop students' scientific literacy, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Differentiate learning for students with a range of abilities and learning needs
Integrate digital technologies into teaching and learning
Build positive relationships with students
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive Science faculty
Relevant tertiary qualification in Science or Education, with Biology specialisation
VIT registration or eligibility for registration
Secondary Biology teaching experience
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Commitment to inclusive and student-centred education
Willingness to contribute to faculty programs and the wider life of the College
