Prospero Teaching is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded independent school to appoint two Boarding Head of Year (Boys) for permanent, full-time residential positions commencing in 2027.
This rewarding leadership opportunity is ideal for educators or pastoral professionals who are passionate about student wellbeing, residential care, and fostering a positive boarding experience for young people.
The Opportunity Join a dedicated boarding team where you will:
Provide leadership, guidance, and pastoral care to boarding students
Support student wellbeing, personal development, and engagement
Develop positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive residential environment
Manage day-to-day boarding operations and routines
Support behaviour management and student wellbeing initiatives
Work collaboratively with academic and boarding staff
Contribute to the culture and success of the boarding community
About You You are a caring and relational leader who:
Has experience working with young people in education, boarding, wellbeing, residential, or youth settings
Demonstrates strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Is committed to student wellbeing and positive outcomes
Can build trust and meaningful relationships with students
Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills
Thrives in a team-focused environment
Understands the importance of safeguarding and student care
