Prospero Teaching is currently seeking qualified and passionate Casual Relief Teachers (CRTs) to support a variety of Independent, Catholic, and Government Secondary schools across Melbourne’s Metro, Inner, Western, and Northern suburbs.

We are looking for adaptable, confident teachers who can step into the classroom and deliver engaging lessons. You will:
• Teach a variety of subjects depending on your strengths and availability
• Supervise and support students in accordance with school values and routines
• Work in supportive, well-resourced schools with established classroom systems
• Choose the days you want to work — perfect for flexibility or work-life balance
• Receive access to longer-term block opportunities as they arise
To work as a Casual Relief Teacher, you will need:
• A recognised teaching qualification
• VIT registration (Full or Provisional)
• Current CV with up-to-date teaching experience or placements
• Flexibility to travel to schools in your preferred areas
• A positive, professional attitude and strong behaviour management
• We work with a wide network of schools across Melbourne
• You’ll be offered work that aligns with your skills, location, and preferences
• We provide ongoing support and advice on transitioning into block or contract roles
• Easy-to-use availability system via our app

• Inner & Metro Melbourne
• Melbourne West – Tarneit, Point Cook, Caroline Springs
