Prospero Teaching is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded independent school to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic German Teacher for a full-time fixed-term contract commencing 24 August 2026 through to 2 December 2026.

The Opportunity
Join a collaborative teaching team where you will:
- Teach German across Years 7-10
- Deliver engaging and differentiated language learning experiences
- Foster students' appreciation of language, culture, and global citizenship
- Develop positive and supportive relationships with students
- Create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Contribute to curriculum planning and faculty initiatives
- Support students to achieve their academic potential
About You
You are a passionate and committed Languages educator who:
- Holds relevant teaching qualifications
- Is QCT registered (or eligible)
- Has experience teaching German at secondary level
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
- Creates engaging and student-centred learning experiences
- Builds positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
- Is collaborative, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement
- Contributes positively to school culture and student wellbeing
Additional Opportunity
While this appointment is initially a fixed-term contract until December 2026, there may be the opportunity for an extension into 2027.
Teachers with experience in additional subject areas such as:
- English
- Humanities
- Other secondary teaching disciplines
will be highly regarded. Please note that any extension beyond 2026 is subject to future staffing requirements and cannot be guaranteed at this stage.
