About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Design and Technology Teacher to join a dedicated and experienced teaching team.
In this role, you will primarily teach Woodwork, designing and delivering practical, hands-on lessons that inspire creativity, problem-solving, and skill development. The successful applicant will have access to well-equipped workshops and strong departmental support.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys bringing design concepts to life and helping students develop confidence in practical and technical learning.
Skills and Experience
Experience teaching Design and Technology, particularly Woodwork
Strong understanding of safe workshop practices and risk management
Ability to design engaging and practical project-based learning experiences
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to collaborative teaching and continuous professional improvement
Willingness to support the broader life and faith ethos of the school
You Must
Hold current VIT registration (or be eligible prior to commencement)
Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Education and Technology
Have full working rights in Australia
Be committed to child safety and inclusive education practices
Be available to commence Term 1, 2026
Provide two recent professional referees
