Early Childhood Educator (German Speaking)

Looking for a meaningful new role in early childhood education?
Prospero Teaching is hiring a German-speaking Early Childhood Educator to join a warm, welcoming Early Learning Centre in Sydney’s CBD.

This international school offers a bilingual program, and many of the children speak an additional language—so we’re looking for someone who speaks German and is passionate about early years education.

About the Role

• Work with children aged 3–5 years

• Use play-based learning to support growth and development

• Help children explore language and culture through a bilingual program

• Join a team that supports curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning

What You’ll Do

• Create fun, child-led learning experiences

• Use the German language in daily teaching

• Work closely with a supportive team of educators

• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment

• Follow the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

What You’ll Need

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised)

• Fluent in German and confident using it in a classroom

• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certificates (or willing to obtain)

• Child Protection training (or willing to complete)

• Understanding of EYLF, NQS, and early education best practices

• Confident using digital tools for admin and documentation

• Available between 7:00am–6:00pm on a rotating roster
