Looking for a meaningful new role in early childhood education?
Prospero Teaching is hiring a German-speaking Early Childhood Educator to join a warm, welcoming Early Learning Centre in Sydney’s CBD.
This international school offers a bilingual program, and many of the children speak an additional language—so we’re looking for someone who speaks German and is passionate about early years education.
Work with children aged 3–5 years
Use play-based learning to support growth and development
Help children explore language and culture through a bilingual program
Join a team that supports curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning
Create fun, child-led learning experiences
Use the German language in daily teaching
Work closely with a supportive team of educators
Ensure a safe and nurturing environment
Follow the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised)
Fluent in German and confident using it in a classroom
First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certificates (or willing to obtain)
Child Protection training (or willing to complete)
Understanding of EYLF, NQS, and early education best practices
Confident using digital tools for admin and documentation
Available between 7:00am–6:00pm on a rotating roster
Work in a modern centre with top facilities
High staff-to-child ratios (4 staff per classroom)
Daily programming time for planning
Regular training and professional development
Supportive leadership and structured induction
