About the Role The successful candidate will teach English and Humanities across secondary year levels, delivering engaging and differentiated learning experiences that support both academic achievement and student engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality English and Humanities lessons
Assess and monitor student progress in line with the Victorian Curriculum
Differentiate learning to support diverse student needs
Build strong relationships with students and families
Contribute to whole-school initiatives and extracurricular opportunities
Collaborate with colleagues to support continuous improvement
About You To be successful, you will have:
A recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed., M.Teach or equivalent)
Current VIT Registration or eligibility
Experience teaching English and/or Humanities
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to inclusive, relationship-based teaching practices
A willingness to engage with the wider school community
