About the Role

The school is seeking a qualified English Teacher to join their team on a full-time contract basis until the end of the academic year, commencing ASAP or Term 3.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching English across Years 7–12 (with flexibility for Years 7–10 depending on experience)
• Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
• Supporting students in developing literacy, analytical writing, and comprehension skills
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Contributing to faculty collaboration and curriculum development
• Participating in school activities and wider community engagement

Both graduate and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Secondary teaching qualification (B.Ed, M.Teach, PGCE or equivalent)
• VIT registration or eligibility to obtain
• Strong understanding of the Victorian Curriculum (English)
• Ability to teach across secondary year levels
• Commitment to student engagement and academic progress
• Two professional child-related referees
