Prospero is proud to work with an all-through, mixed school in Northern Beaches, Sydney, who are seeking a full-time qualified English teacher to join their team in May 2026 but interview immediately.
English is a highly regarded and core subject within this successful mixed school in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and the team is seeking a full-time teacher of English who can teach Extension Level English to students in Years 11 and 12, in addition to the broader secondary school curriculum. This is a mixed secondary school, but classes are conducted in single-gender classrooms.

ENGLISH TEACHER JOB:
You will be joining a successful, well-structured department with a strong academic reputation.
- The English Department boasts a range of state-of-the-art facilities.
- An English teacher will teach up to Year 7 – Year 12, including Extension Level English for senior students.

- Position: English Teacher (Extension Level English included)

- Contract type: Temp to Perm

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ENGLISH TEACHER JOB THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Teaching qualification: Bachelor of Education (Secondary Education) or Master of Teaching (Secondary Education).
Hold Right to Work in Australia.
NESA: Must be registered with NESA.
WWCC: Working with Children Check.
Ideally, experience within
NSW.
Provide
