The college is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher to deliver the Victorian Curriculum to students in Years 7–9. This role is ideal for a teacher who thrives in a middle year setting and is passionate about adolescent literacy, student voice, and building strong classroom relationships.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning and delivering engaging English lessons for Years 7–9
  • Differentiating instruction to meet a range of student needs
  • Assessing and reporting on student progress in line with curriculum standards
  • Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development and year-level planning
  • Participating in whole-school wellbeing and engagement initiatives

The ideal English teacher will:
We are looking for an English teacher who is:
  • VIT registered (or eligible)
  • Experienced in or passionate about teaching English to Years 7–9
  • Skilled in student engagement, classroom management, and literacy intervention
  • Collaborative, reflective, and responsive to student needs
  • Committed to fostering a positive and respectful learning environment
