About this English teaching role: The college is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher to deliver the Victorian Curriculum to students in Years 7–9. Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging English lessons for Years 7–9
Differentiating instruction to meet a range of student needs
Assessing and reporting on student progress in line with curriculum standards
Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development and year-level planning
Participating in whole-school wellbeing and engagement initiatives
The ideal English teacher will: We are looking for an English teacher who is:
VIT registered (or eligible)
Experienced in or passionate about teaching English to Years 7–9
Skilled in student engagement, classroom management, and literacy intervention
Collaborative, reflective, and responsive to student needs
Committed to fostering a positive and respectful learning environment
