The English Teacher Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English teacher to join our vibrant team starting Term 3, 2026. In this role, you will:

  • Teach English to Years 7–12, delivering both literature and language components.
  • Lead engaging lessons that foster a love for reading, writing, and critical analysis.
  • Support project-based learning, assessments, and class activities.
  • Encourage creativity and independent thinking through literature discussions, writing workshops, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, cross-curricular projects, and school events.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates students to excel in English.

Key English Teacher Requirements

  • VIT registration or eligibility to teach in Victoria.
  • Relevant teaching qualification in English or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of literature, writing techniques, and classroom management.
  • Excellent communication, organisational skills, and a passion for teaching.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students in both written and spoken English.
