About the Food technology teaching role:

We are seeking a passionate Food Technology educator who can:
• Teach engaging Food Technology lessons across Years 7–12
• Use explicit instruction, hands-on learning, and formative assessment to support student progress
• Differentiate learning for a wide range of abilities, including EAL and diverse learners
• Integrate digital technologies and real-world food education practices
• Promote safe food handling and Food Studies curriculum requirements
• Build positive relationships and contribute to a respectful, inclusive environment

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Food Technology / Home Economics
• VIT registration (or eligibility)
• Commitment to inclusive education practices
• Willingness to contribute to faculty programs and co-curricular activities
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
