We are seeking a Food Technology teacher who:
Demonstrates strong pedagogical and content knowledge in Food Technology across Years 7–12
Uses explicit instruction, practical activities, and formative assessment to guide student learning
Differentiates learning to support students of all abilities, including EAL and culturally diverse learners
Integrates technology and hands-on, project-based strategies to enhance engagement and real-world application
Embodies a growth mindset and commitment to professional learning
Promotes a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
Food Technology teacher requirements?
Relevant teaching qualifications in Food Technology
VIT registration (or eligibility to obtain)
Understanding of inclusive education and compliance with relevant legislation
Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school and broader community programs
