Prospero Teaching is supporting a high-performing independent school in Melbourne seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join their Languages Faculty. This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing at the beginning of Term 1, 2026.

Salary: $83,483 – $125,182 per annum + superannuation
Key selection criteria
The successful French teacher will have:
Relevant teaching qualifications and eligibility to register in Victoria
Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching VCE French
Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or eligibility
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Valid driver’s licence
Strong content knowledge and familiarity with VCE French curriculum requirements
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
A collaborative, student-focused approach to teaching and learning
