We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join the teaching team in 2026. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Years 7–12, covering both Geography and related curriculum content. You will have the opportunity to inspire students and foster a deep understanding of geographical concepts, critical thinking, and global awareness.
Subjects: Geography (Years 7–12), with the potential to teach VCE Geography in the future.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
Foster students' curiosity about the world, its environments, and the impact of human activity on geography.
Support students' academic growth and provide effective feedback to help them reach their potential.
Participate in the broader school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.

The ideal candidate
The successful candidate will possess:
Strong subject knowledge in Geography and the Victorian Curriculum.
Experience in teaching Years 7–12, with a focus on Geography (VCE experience is a plus but not essential).
A passion for geography education and a commitment to inspiring students to appreciate the world around them.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Current or pending VIT registration.
