The opportunity

Join a collaborative and supportive HSIE Faculty where you will:

• Teach Business Studies, Legal Studies, and Commerce
• Teach some junior History and Geography classes
• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the NSW Curriculum
• Prepare students for success in Stage 6 Business Studies and Legal Studies
• Foster critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and inquiry-based learning
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement
• Monitor student progress and use data-informed practices to improve outcomes
• Contribute to curriculum development and faculty initiatives
• Participate in the wider life of the school through pastoral care and co-curricular activities

About you

You are a passionate and motivated educator who:

• Holds recognised secondary teaching qualifications
• Is NESA accredited (or eligible for accreditation)
• Has experience teaching Business Studies and/or Legal Studies at Stage 6
• Can teach Commerce and junior HSIE subjects, including History and Geography
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and student engagement skills
• Has a sound understanding of the NSW Curriculum and HSC requirements
• Builds positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
• Works effectively within a collaborative and professional team environment
• Is supportive of and able to contribute to the values and ethos of an Islamic educational setting
