Prospero Teaching is partnering with a well-established independent Islamic school in South-Western Sydney to recruit a qualified HSIE Teacher for a permanent full-time position commencing Term 2, 2026.

The school has a strong academic record, with recent senior cohorts achieving 100% HSC completion and ATAR attainment, including Band 5 and Band 6 results, reflecting the school’s commitment to educational excellence.

HSIE Teacher Responsibilities:

• Teach HSIE subjects to Years 7–12, including History and Geography
• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned with the NSW Curriculum and the school’s Islamic ethos
• Build relationships with students, colleagues, and families
• Contribute to department initiatives and school programs
• Participate in school events and professional development

What We Require:

• Recognised teaching qualification with a specialisation in HSIE
• Current NESA registration
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Experience teaching Stage 5–6 HSIE subjects is desirable
• Commitment to supporting the school’s Islamic values
