Prospero Teaching is excited to partner with a well-established and welcoming secondary school seeking a passionate HSIE Teacher for a full-time contract commencing in Term 1, 2026.

As a valued member of the HSIE Faculty, you will:
Deliver engaging and inquiry-based lessons across Stages 4 & 5 (with Stage 6 experience highly regarded).
Inspire curiosity and critical thinking in students about history, geography, civics, and social sciences.
Use data-driven teaching to support a diverse range of learners.
Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom culture.
Collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to the broader school community.
Demonstrate the ability to design and deliver syllabus-aligned programs, develop engaging and challenging learning experiences that promote critical thinking, and provide timely, constructive feedback to support student reflection and growth.
You are an enthusiastic HSIE educator who:
Holds relevant secondary teaching qualifications in HSIE subjects.
Teaches across Stages 4 & 5, with experience in Stage 6 highly regarded.
Holds a valid teaching registration or is eligible to obtain one in NSW (NESA).
Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive education and student success.
Is collaborative, adaptable, and student-focused.
Is willing to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College (with no regular weekend sporting commitments).
Has full working rights for this role.
