The Opportunity Join a collaborative teaching team where you will:
Teach Humanities across the Middle Years
Deliver engaging and inquiry-based learning experiences that encourage critical thinking and curiosity
Support students in developing knowledge and understanding across History, Geography, Civics, and related Humanities disciplines
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student achievement
Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and assessment
Build positive relationships with students, families, and the wider school community
Contribute to the broader life of the school through teamwork and professional engagement
About You You are a passionate and committed Humanities educator who:
Holds relevant teaching qualifications
Is registered with the Northern Territory Teacher Registration Board (or eligible for registration)
Has experience teaching Humanities in a secondary setting
Demonstrates strong classroom management and student engagement skills
Brings enthusiasm and creativity to curriculum delivery
Is committed to supporting positive student outcomes
Works effectively within a collaborative team environment
Values inclusive education and student wellbeing
