Position: Humanities Teacher – Geography / History / Economics / Business (Tourism desirable)

Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (Terms 2–4 inclusive)

Are you a passionate Humanities educator confident teaching across Geography, History, Economics, Business, and potentially Tourism?

Prospero Teaching Australia is seeking a Humanities Teacher for a secondary school in the Ipswich region. This is a full-time contract for Terms 2–4, with the potential for the role to become more substantial in 2027 pending staffing arrangements.

The Ideal Teacher Will:

• Be eligible for QCT registration.
• Have experience teaching Humanities subjects across Years 7–12.
• Be confident delivering Geography, History, Economics, and Business Bring the ability or willingness to teach Tourism (desirable).
• Use engaging, inquiry‑based teaching practices.
• Foster a positive, supportive, and professional classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively within a strong Humanities faculty.
