Prospero Teaching is supporting a respected Catholic secondary school for boys in Melbourne’s northeast. The College is seeking a dedicated Humanities & English Teacher to commence from Term 4, 2025.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Position: Humanities & English Teacher
Subjects: Year 11 History, Year 10 Politics, Year 9 Politics, Year 10 English
Start Date: Term 4, 2025
Type: Term 4 only initially
Location: Melbourne, VIC
Department: Humanities & English

THE SUCCESSFUL TEACHER WILL:

• Hold a relevant secondary teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed. or M.Teach)

• Be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across History, Politics, and English

• Show the ability to inspire, engage, and support boys’ learning

• Be committed to the Catholic ethos and values of the College

• Contribute positively to a collaborative and professional teaching team
