About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and dedicated Italian Teacher to join a dynamic teaching team. In this role, you will deliver engaging Italian language lessons across Years 7–10 and contribute to another teaching area, depending on your methods and experience.
You’ll play an important role in fostering a love of languages, culture, and communication among students, while being supported by a collaborative team that values innovation and professional growth.
Skills and Experience
Experience teaching Italian at the secondary level (Years 7–10)
Ability to teach a second method desirable
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to collaborative practice and continuous improvement
Passion for engaging students in language learning
Willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school
You Must
Hold current VIT registration (or be eligible prior to commencement)
Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Education and Italian
Have full working rights in Australia
Be committed to child safety and inclusive education practices
Be available to commence January 2026
Provide two recent professional referees
