About the Role

The school is seeking a qualified Italian Teacher to work 3 days per week, delivering engaging language programs across junior and middle years.

Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching Italian across Years 7–10 (potential VCE exposure depending on experience)
  • Designing engaging, communicative language lessons
  • Promoting cultural understanding and language acquisition
  • Using interactive and digital tools to enhance language learning
  • Supporting student engagement through inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies
  • Working collaboratively within the Languages Faculty

Requirements

  • Relevant secondary teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, M.Teach or equivalent)
  • Ability to teach Italian (native or near-native fluency desirable)
  • Eligible for or willing to obtain VIT registration
  • Full Australian working rights or eligibility for visa sponsorship
  • Two professional child-related referees
