Prospero Teaching is pleased to partner with a highly regarded independent Christian school in Melbourne’s vibrant western suburbs. Known for its strong sense of community and commitment to holistic education, the school offers a nurturing environment where every student is encouraged to thrive.

We are currently seeking a Primary Learning Enrichment Teacher to work alongside classroom educators, helping meet the diverse learning needs of students from Prep to Year 6.

The Learning Support Teaching will:

• Full-time Learning Support Teacher (Primary)
• Start: Term 3 or as soon as possible
• Work closely with classroom teachers and specialist staff
• Support students with additional needs, including literacy and numeracy intervention
• Provide tailored programs for individuals and small groups
• Join a dedicated and collaborative Student Support Team

Key responsibilities

• Identify students requiring additional learning support and help develop Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
• Deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions across Prep to Year 6
• Track and report on student progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, wellbeing staff, and families
• Contribute to the inclusive ethos of the school and foster student confidence

The ideal Primary teacher:

• Holds a relevant teaching qualification (B.Ed. or M.Teach – Primary or Special Education)
• VIT registered (or eligible)
• Experience working with students with learning difficulties or additional needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Understanding of the NCCD and inclusive education practices
• A values-led educator committed to supporting student wellbeing and learning
