Prospero Teaching is proud to be partnering with a leading independent secondary school in Victoria to recruit a passionate and experienced Learning Leader Commerce. This POL 2.5 leadership role commences in 2026 and offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Commerce education within a dynamic and supportive school community.
About the Learning Leader Commerce role
Lead and coordinate curriculum development across Commerce subjects.
The department is committed to delivering contemporary, real-world curricula that connect students to business, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and commerce in local and global contexts.
Students are supported to develop critical thinking, numeracy, analytical skills, problem solving, and ethical decision making in commercial contexts.
The department works closely with other faculties (e.g. maths, humanities, ICT) to deliver cross-disciplinary projects (e.g. economics + data, business + digital tech)
Mentor and inspire a dedicated team of teachers.
Drive innovative and engaging teaching and learning practices.
Contribute to the wider leadership team and whole-school initiatives.

What we’re looking for from a Learning Leader in Commerce
VIT registration (or eligibility).
A track record of leadership or curriculum coordination in Commerce.
Strong understanding of curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment design.
A leader who brings energy, vision, and a commitment to student success.
