The opportunity
Join a collaborative and high-performing Mathematics Faculty where you will:
- Teach Mathematics across Years 7-12, depending on experience and specialisation
- Deliver engaging, differentiated, and challenging lessons aligned with the NSW Curriculum
- Develop students' mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills
- Foster a positive classroom culture built on high expectations and student engagement
- Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes across all levels of Mathematics
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching and learning programs
- Contribute to faculty initiatives and continuous improvement practices
- Participate in the wider life of the school through pastoral and co-curricular programs
About you
You are a passionate and committed Mathematics educator who:
- Holds recognised secondary teaching qualifications
- Is NESA accredited (or eligible for accreditation)
- Has experience teaching Mathematics across secondary year levels
- Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management skills
- Can inspire and challenge students of varying abilities
- Maintains high expectations for student achievement and engagement
- Works collaboratively within a professional and supportive team environment
- Is committed to continuous professional learning and development
- Demonstrates excellent communication and relationship-building skills
