The Opportunity

As a Mathematics/Science Teacher, you will join a supportive teaching team and contribute to high-quality learning programs across the secondary years.

The role may include:

  • Teaching Mathematics and Science across Years 7–12

  • Teaching senior Mathematics and/or Science subjects where appropriately qualified

  • Chemistry teaching is highly desirable

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

  • Developing students' numeracy, scientific thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes

  • Contributing to curriculum development and assessment

  • Building positive and respectful relationships with students

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and the broader school community

  • Contributing to the school's co-curricular and wider school programs

  • Supporting the school's focus on student wellbeing and positive behaviour

About You

We are seeking a passionate and committed teacher who:

  • Holds relevant teaching qualifications and is VIT registered or eligible for registration

  • Has teaching methods in Mathematics and/or Science

  • Is able to teach across the secondary years

  • Has Chemistry as a teaching method or relevant teaching experience, ideally including senior secondary Chemistry

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and student engagement skills

  • Creates structured, engaging and inclusive learning environments

  • Is committed to supporting students from diverse backgrounds and abilities

  • Works effectively as part of a collaborative teaching team

  • Is enthusiastic about contributing to a regional school community

  • Is committed to student wellbeing and positive educational outcomes

Regional Recruitment Incentive

Salary & Conditions

Salary will be in accordance with the Victorian Government Schools Agreement and will be dependent on experience and classification.
