Prospero Teaching are partnered with a leading independent girls’ school seeking an enthusiastic and highly capable Mathematics Teacher for a full-time, fixed-term position in 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across Years 7–10 and VCE Mathematics within a collaborative, forward-thinking faculty.

As a key member of the Mathematics Faculty, you will:
✔ Deliver engaging, evidence-based lessons across Years 7–10 and VCE Mathematics
✔ Foster a classroom environment that inspires curiosity, critical thinking, and achievement
✔ Use data to inform practice and differentiate to meet a range of learning needs
✔ Provide pastoral support and uphold the school’s values and high expectations
✔ Collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to co-curricular and pastoral programs
You are an excellent classroom practitioner who:
• Has confidence in teaching VCE Mathematics (General, Methods, or Specialist highly regarded)
• Maintains high standards in curriculum planning and assessment
• Builds strong relationships with students, staff, and families
• Demonstrates professionalism, adaptability, and enthusiasm for girls’ education
• Uses ICT effectively to enhance student learning
• Understands and complies with child safety obligations
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Mathematics and Secondary Teaching
• Current VIT registration
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Knowledge of child safe standards
• A proven track record of excellence in teaching Mathematics
• Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement
