The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative Mathematics faculty, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to think critically, solve problems confidently, and develop a genuine appreciation for Mathematics.
Key responsibilities include:
• Teaching Mathematics across Years 7–12
• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the NSW Curriculum
• Using explicit teaching strategies and data-informed practice to maximise student outcomes
• Differentiating learning to cater for a diverse range of learners
• Building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Contributing to the wider life of the school through co-curricular and community activities
• Working collaboratively within a supportive and experienced teaching team
You will be a passionate educator who believes in creating a positive and engaging classroom culture while maintaining high expectations for student achievement.
You will have:
• Relevant teaching qualifications
• Current NESA accreditation or eligibility to teach in NSW
• Experience teaching secondary Mathematics
• A strong understanding of the NSW Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• The ability to build strong relationships within a school community
• A commitment to student wellbeing and academic growth
• A collaborative and reflective approach to professional practice
