Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a well-established independent Islamic school in South-Western Sydney to recruit a qualified and values-aligned Maths Teacher for a permanent full-time position commencing Term 2, 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a faith-based school community that promotes academic excellence and holistic student development. The successful applicant will be joining a supportive Maths department and will have opportunities to grow professionally within the school.
The school has a strong academic record, with recent senior cohorts achieving 100% HSC completion and ATAR attainment, including Band 5 and Band 6 results, reflecting the school’s commitment to educational excellence across secondary levels.
Teach Mathematics to Years 7–12, including Standard (required) and Advanced (preferred)
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the NSW Curriculum and the school’s Islamic ethos
Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families
Contribute to department initiatives and whole-school programs
Actively participate in the life of the school, including professional development, events, and team collaboration
Recognised teaching qualification with a specialisation in Mathematics
Current NESA registration
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Experience teaching Stage 5–6 Mathematics is highly desirable
