Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher for a well-established Islamic college located in Greater Western Sydney. This is a part-time, permanent position commencing Term 1, 2026

The Music teaching role
We are seeking a qualified Music Teacher to deliver engaging programs across Years 7–12, including elective classes in Years 10 and 11.
You’ll join a collaborative Arts Department that values creativity, performance, and student engagement.
Responsibilities of this music teaching role include:
- Teaching classroom and practical Music across the secondary years
- Leading ensembles and preparing students for performances and showcases
- Contributing to co-curricular and whole-school Arts events
- Inspiring students’ musical development and creativity
About the right Music teacher: - Qualified to teach Music
- Ideally have knowledge of the NSW Curriculum
- Experienced in teaching secondary students, including elective Music
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passionate about fostering a love for Music and performance
- Hold NESA accreditation and a valid NSW Working with Children Check
