About the Role

The school is seeking a qualified Secondary Physical Education Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, commencing ASAP (Term 3), through to the end of the school year, with a strong likelihood of ongoing employment.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching Physical Education across Years 7–12
• Planning and delivering engaging practical and theoretical PE lessons
• Developing students’ knowledge of health, fitness, wellbeing, and sporting concepts
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Differentiating lessons to support a range of student abilities
• Assessing and monitoring student progress
• Contributing to faculty planning, curriculum development, and school activities
• Supporting the wider sporting and extracurricular programs of the school

This role would suit an enthusiastic PE teacher who is passionate about student engagement, wellbeing, and creating positive learning experiences.

Location: Melbourne, VIC (Northern Suburbs)

Requirements

• Secondary teaching qualification (B.Ed, M.Teach, PGCE or equivalent)
• VIT registration (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience teaching Physical Education across secondary year levels
• Strong understanding of the Victorian Curriculum
• Ability to engage and inspire students across a range of abilities
• Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education
• Two professional child-related referees
