About the Role

The school is seeking a qualified PE Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis from Term 3 through to the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching Physical Education across Years 7–10
• Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive practical and theory-based lessons
• Promoting student health, fitness, and wellbeing
• Creating a positive and supportive classroom and sporting environment
• Contributing to the wider sports program and school activities
• Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum planning and student development

Requirements

• Secondary teaching qualification (B.Ed, M.Teach, PGCE or equivalent)
• VIT registration or eligibility to obtain
• Experience or ability to teach PE across Years 7–10
• Commitment to promoting student wellbeing and active lifestyles
• Ability to contribute to co-curricular sports programs
• Two professional child-related referees from most recent employer
