Prospero Teaching is working alongside a welcoming and values-driven independent Christian school located in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. The College provides education from Prep through to Year 12 and is committed to fostering academic excellence, student wellbeing, and strong community values.

The Physical Education teaching role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Physical Education Teacher to join the secondary teaching team. This role would suit a teacher passionate about promoting active lifestyles, student wellbeing, and developing students’ confidence and teamwork skills across Years 7–12.

Key responsibilities:

• Teach Secondary Physical Education across Years 7–12

• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based PE lessons

• Support student participation, skill development, and wellbeing

• Marking, reporting, and assessing student progress

• Work collaboratively with the Health & PE faculty to enhance curriculum delivery

• Contribute positively to the broader school community and co-curricular programs

• Support the holistic development of students in line with the College’s Christian ethos

Skills & experience:

• Relevant teaching qualification in Physical Education or Health & PE

• Registration (or eligibility) with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

• Ability to teach Secondary PE across a range of year levels

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Passion for student engagement, wellbeing, and sport

• Commitment to supporting students academically and pastorally
