Secondary Physics Teacher – Christian Faith School

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a well-regarded independent Christian K–12 school south of Perth to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Secondary Teacher for a Term 1, 2027 commencement.

Position: Secondary Physics Teacher
Location: South of Perth, Western Australia
Employment Type: Full-time
Start Date: Term 1, 2027
The successful candidate will join a collaborative Secondary teaching team and deliver engaging, challenging and student-centred learning programs.
We are particularly interested in teachers with experience teaching:
Physics – Years 11–12
Physics and General Science – Years 7–10
Mathematics – Years 7–12 would be highly regarded
Other Science teaching areas may also be considered
You will have the opportunity to inspire students through practical investigations, scientific inquiry, problem-solving and real-world applications of Physics.
The successful applicant will:
Hold a recognised teaching qualification in Secondary Education
Have strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Physics
Be registered or eligible for registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
Have experience teaching senior secondary Physics, ideally including Years 11 and 12
Demonstrate strong classroom practice and effective behaviour management
Use practical and inquiry-based approaches to engage students in Science
Have a genuine passion for STEM and developing scientific thinking
Build positive and respectful relationships with students
Create an inclusive classroom environment focused on engagement and achievement
Work collaboratively within a professional Secondary teaching team
Be actively involved in, or strongly supportive of, the Christian faith and values of the school
