Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a growing independent school in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs to recruit a qualified and values-aligned Primary Teacher for Term 1, 2026.

The school is committed to providing high-quality education across Foundation to Year 6, fostering curiosity, creativity, and strong foundational skills in literacy and numeracy.

Primary Teacher responsibilities:

• Teach across Foundation to Year 6 (year level placement based on experience)

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum

• Support students with diverse learning needs, including EAL and additional learning support

• Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families

• Actively participate in school life, including co-curricular activities, excursions, and camps

What do we require from a Primary Teacher:

• Recognised Primary Teaching qualification (B.Ed or M.Teach – Primary)

• Current or pending registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

• Commitment to child safety and inclusive practices

• Willingness to support and respect the school’s values-based ethos

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
