About the role
The successful candidate will join the primary teaching team in a full-time capacity from January 2027.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, structured, and effective lessons across the primary curriculum
- Differentiating learning to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students
- Establishing a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Monitoring, assessing, and documenting student progress
- Providing meaningful and constructive feedback to support student growth
- Building strong and positive relationships with students, colleagues, families, and the wider school community
- Participating in collaborative planning and curriculum development
- Contributing to school-wide programs, activities, and community initiatives
Depending on the needs of the school, the successful applicant may be allocated a specific year level or may be required to demonstrate flexibility across P–6.
Graduate and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.

Requirements
Applicants will ideally have:
- A recognised primary teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Master of Teaching (M.Teach), or equivalent
- Current VIT registration or eligibility to obtain registration
- The ability to teach across P–6, or a willingness to work flexibly across different primary year levels
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion, and student-centred learning
- Two professional child-related referees
