Prospero Teaching are partnering with a prestigious independent school on Sydney’s North Shore to recruit an experienced and passionate Primary Teacher for a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027.

The role

• Teach across Early Stage 1 to Stage 3, depending on your experience and strengths
• Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with the NSW Curriculum
• Differentiate teaching and learning to meet the individual needs of students
• Foster a classroom culture where students feel known, supported, challenged, and motivated
• Promote the academic, social, and emotional development of students
• Integrate technology effectively into day-to-day teaching and learning
• Assess and monitor student progress and use evidence to inform teaching practice
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Work collaboratively within a highly professional Primary teaching team
• Contribute to the broader pastoral and co-curricular life of the school

What you'll bring

The successful candidate will:

• Hold recognised Primary teaching qualifications
• Hold current NESA accreditation or be eligible for accreditation
• Have experience teaching across Early Stage 1 to Stage 3
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively differentiate curriculum for a range of learning needs
• Have a genuine commitment to student wellbeing and helping every child reach their learning potential
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and student engagement skills
• Be confident incorporating technology into contemporary classroom practice
• Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Enjoy working collaboratively and contributing to a positive team culture
• Be supportive of the school's Christian values and ethos
