Prospero Teaching is delighted to be partnering with a catholic Primary School to appoint a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join the school community for Term 4, 2026.

The Role

The successful teacher will:

  • Teach across Prep to Year 2
  • Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences
  • Build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy
  • Create a warm, safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Develop positive relationships with students and families
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership
  • Contribute to the wider school and faith community
  • Support students' social, emotional and academic development
  • Take part in ongoing professional learning and school activities

The school is looking for a teacher who is:

  • Confident teaching Prep–Year 2

  • Organised and enthusiastic
  • Committed to student wellbeing and achievement
  • Hold or be eligible for VIT registration
  • Accredited, or willing to obtain accreditation, to teach in a Catholic school

Two recent professional references will be required, including one from a Principal or Deputy Principal where possible.
