Prospero Teaching is currently supporting a well-established K–12 community school in Zetland, Sydney in their search for a compassionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team and support a Year 5 class.

The successful applicant will take responsibility for a Year 5 class of approximately 25 students. The class has a range of learning needs and backgrounds, and the role requires a teacher who is confident stepping into an established classroom environment and providing reassurance, structure and emotional support following the unexpected departure of their previous teacher.

Workload: Full-time preferred
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract
Salary: In line with NSW teaching award + superannuation
✅ Hold a recognised Primary Teaching qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)
✅ Be registered with NESA (or eligible for registration)
✅ Hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
✅ Have full working rights in Australia
✅ Provide two professional, child-related references
