Prospero Teaching is seeking passionate and dedicated primary teachers to join a thriving Islamic faith school in Western Sydney. Key responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across all primary year groups (Prep to Year 6)

• Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development

• Work collaboratively with teams of educators to maintain a positive classroom and school culture

• Integrate educational technologies to enhance learning outcomes

Skills and experience:

• Demonstrated high pedagogical standards and effective communication with students
• Ability to build rapport with students, colleagues and parents
• Strong classroom presence 
• Ability to fulfil classroom responsibilities with professionalism, efficiency, and dedication
• Experience or willingness to work with students from diverse cultural, linguistic, and faith backgrounds
• Knowledge of child protection laws and ethical guidelines, including mandatory reporting
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Requirements for this primary teaching role:

• Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent teaching qualification

• NESA accreditation and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in a primary school setting (preferred)

• Two professional references, including your most recent employer
