The Ideal Teacher Will:

  • Be a qualified and registered primary teacher (or eligible for Queensland teacher registration).

  • Bring additional qualifications and/or extensive experience in working with children with autism, preferably with experience in delivering the Australian Curriculum.

  • Demonstrate flexibility to teach across early primary year levels (likely Prep–Year 4), with the final year level pending confirmation.

  • Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment, utilizing visual supports, sensory strategies, and individual learning adaptations.

  • Value strong communication and partnerships with families to support each student’s success.

  • Thrive in a values-based, collaborative Christian learning community that sees education as a holistic journey of intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and social growth.
