Salary: In line with the Victorian Government Schools Agreement (based on experience and classification)

About the role – Design & Technology Teacher
Secondary College offers Product Design and Systems Engineering at VCE level and is seeking an experienced and passionate Design & Technology Teacher to join their dedicated and innovative Technology faculty. The Principal is a TAS teacher and is committed to building and expanding the Design & Technology space, ensuring it remains highly valued and celebrated across the school.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging Design & Technology lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
Teaching Product Design and Systems Engineering across Years 7–12 (VCE experience highly regarded)
Promoting student creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning
Contributing to co-curricular technology programs and initiatives
Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching practices
Building strong, respectful relationships with students, staff, and families
About you
We are looking for a teacher who:
Is confident teaching Design & Technology to secondary students, including VCE level
Holds full VIT registration (or is in the final stages of approval)
Has appropriate tertiary qualifications in Design & Technology, Product Design, or a related field
Understands the needs of diverse learners and inclusive education
Is committed to fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment
