Religious Studies & Humanities Teacher – skills & experience
- Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated Humanities lessons
- Capacity to teach Religious Education in a contemporary, inclusive and student-centred manner
- Passion for developing critical thinking, ethical understanding and global awareness
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to supporting the academic, social, emotional and spiritual development of students
- Ability to work collaboratively within Professional Learning Teams
- Experience integrating technology into teaching and learning
- Understanding of child safety and safeguarding practices
What you need to teach in Victoria
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Relevant teaching methods in Humanities and Religious Education
- Registration (or eligibility) with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one)
- Full Australian working rights or eligibility for sponsorship consideration
