Science & Religious Education Teacher Skills & Experience
- Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons
- Capacity to teach Religious Education in a contemporary and student-centred manner
- Passion for fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to supporting the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development of students
- Ability to work collaboratively within Professional Learning Teams
- Experience integrating technology into teaching and learning
- Understanding of child safety and safeguarding practices
What You Need to Teach in Victoria
- Bachelor of Education, Teaching Degree, or equivalent recognised qualification
- Relevant teaching methods in Science
- Eligibility for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one
- Full Australian working rights or eligibility for sponsorship consideration
