As a valued member of the secondary teaching team, you will deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum, inspiring students to explore and develop their scientific understanding and critical thinking skills.
You will contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, collaborating closely with colleagues and participating in pastoral care and co-curricular programs that support student development.
Plan and deliver differentiated Science lessons that meet curriculum requirements
Provide timely, constructive assessment and feedback to enhance student learning
Actively participate in pastoral care and co-curricular activities
Maintain professional and effective communication with students, parents, and staff
Utilise digital learning platforms to support teaching and communication
Relevant tertiary qualifications and current NSW teacher accreditation (or eligibility)
Valid Working with Children Check clearance
Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Science
Effective classroom management and lesson planning skills
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
Positive contribution to school culture and extracurricular life
Professional conduct and presentation consistent with school values
