The Science teaching role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Science Teacher who can inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of scientific inquiry across Stages 4 and 5, with the ability to teach Stage 6 desirable.
You will deliver engaging, hands-on, and inquiry-based learning experiences that develop students’ understanding of scientific concepts, problem-solving skills, and independent thinking. A strong focus on differentiation, student engagement, and contemporary teaching practice is essential.

Key Science teacher responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Science programs aligned with the NSW curriculum
- Teach across Stages 4 & 5, with Stage 6 capability desirable
- Develop inquiry-based, practical, and student-centred learning experiences
- Differentiate learning to support and extend all students
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment with high expectations
- Integrate digital technologies and modern teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate assessment, reporting, and student data (SEQTA)
- Collaborate with faculty staff on curriculum planning and development
- Support laboratory safety and WHS compliance in practical lessons
- Contribute to co-curricular activities including Science events, excursions, and competitions
- Participate in pastoral care and whole-school community initiatives

About you as a Science teacher:
- Qualified Science Teacher with proven classroom experience
- Strong knowledge of NSW Science curriculum
- Confident delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons
- Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
- Collaborative and professional approach to team environments
- Committed to student wellbeing and academic growth
- Proficient in digital learning tools (Google Workspace, LMS platforms)
- Strong understanding of WHS and laboratory safety practices
